My work has a sense of the medical, to protect the body from ills with enigmatic therapeutic solutions. Collections of wearable pieces for the body are created through textile and stitch to provide physical, spiritual and emotional panaceas for our human condition.

Found materials of comfort, such as pillowcases, wool blankets, household linens, feather duvets and cotton sheets are selected and combined. These are integrated by their means of attachment, using tapes and ties.

Previous research has included The Wellcome Trust, medical artefacts and archives with photographs and personal stories such as those held at The Bethlam Royal Hospital in Kent.
